You earn points on flights, hotels, tours and cruises booked through Flight Centre, Travel Associates and Cruiseabout - and on a surprising amount that’s nothing to do with travel, from health insurance to meal kits to electronics. A single booking can earn three stacks of points at once: World360 Rewards points, airline or hotel loyalty points, and points on whatever card you pay with.
No fee, no card required, two minutes to sign up. MemberPlus is a separate paid tier.
Every booking through the Flight Centre group earns, and so does a growing list of everyday partners.

The basics
What is World360 Rewards?
World360 Rewards is the loyalty program behind Flight Centre, Travel Associates and Cruiseabout. It’s free to join, and it does two things: it earns you points on travel booked through the group, and it earns you points with a growing list of everyday partners that have nothing to do with a holiday.
It’s not a frequent flyer program – think of it as a travel discount you build up.
The bit most people miss is that World360 Rewards sits alongside your other points rather than replacing them. Book a package through Flight Centre on a rewards card, and you’ll earn World360 Rewards points on the booking, frequent flyer points on the flights (as long as the fare is eligible), and card points on the payment. That’s triple-dipping on points in one transaction.
It’s also not just limited to flights. Tours, cruises, and hotels all earn World360 Rewards points, and you can use your points for the same experiences.

What you spend turns into World360 Rewards points. The earn rates vary, but start at 1 point per dollar spent at Flight Centre. Treat the balance as effectively cashback that you can spend on future bookings or redemptions. Remember you can still earn frequent flyer and card points on top.

The channel
When is it worth booking through Flight Centre?
While many of us are used to booking itineraries by ourselves (particularly with reward seats), Flight Centre is worth considering on trips where something can go wrong, or where the itinerary is too complex to price yourself, such as multi-city routings, packages, cruises and tours. You’re paying for a consultant who owns the booking, plus ATIA accreditation that protects your money if a supplier fails.

Is a package actually cheaper than booking separately?
Sometimes, and it’s easy to check. A package can beat booking the flights and hotel yourself, but not always, and the points you earn on each path differ.
Price the flight and the hotel yourself online, add them up, and compare that to the package price. Then factor in the points: a package is one large spend, so your rewards card earns on the whole amount, and you’ll also earn World360 Rewards points on the whole booking. If the bundle is cheaper and earns more, book it. If the parts are cheaper, then weigh up the pros and cons of booking them yourself separately.

How do I earn World360 Rewards points?
There are two main ways to earn World360 Rewards points. Book through Flight Centre or partner agencies, or transfer points from a partner rewards program.
Earn rates may change. Confirm the current rate with your consultant or in the app before you plan a booking around a particular number.
Transfer partners
What transfers into World360 Rewards
A few programs offer transfers to World360 Rewards. Transfers run one way only - see below. Confirm current ratios and minimums before you plan a transfer. For Caltex Rewards redemptions, you will receive a voucher code that you need to redeem in your World360 Rewards account within 2 years of receiving the code. Westpac Group includes Westpac, St.George, Bank of Melbourne and Bank SA.
Frequently asked question
Can I move World360 Rewards points to Qantas or Velocity?
No - transfers run one way. You can move ANZ Rewards, ANZ Business Rewards and Caltex Rewards points into your World360 Rewards balance, but not back out to an airline or bank program.
If you book through Flight Centre, it’s still a straightforward win. If you’re building toward a reward seat in Business Class, keep doing that with your frequent flyer program and treat World360 Rewards as bonus points on top. The two aren’t in competition – you’ll earn in both programs.
World360 Rewards points expire three years after your last recognised earning activity. Any qualifying earn resets the clock, so your points balance will be safe if you book or redeem something at least every other year. Transferring points in from other partners will also reset the clock.
What to look out for
What should I know before I join?
None of these are dealbreakers, but you should be aware of them before joining the program.
There’s a 10,000-point World360 Rewards cancellation fee, plus whatever the supplier charges. On tours and cruises, that’s often a percentage of the points you redeemed, rising as you get closer to travel.
Making a redemption with points? Enjoy it, but keep in mind it won’t earn World360 Rewards points, and there’s no card spend to earn on either.
Hotels, multi-day tours, car hire and travel insurance need to be part of a bundle, or booked with a consultant.
If a booking is cancelled or refunded, any points earned are deducted. If you’ve already spent them, you can go negative until new earnings clear the balance.
Ask for the total including booking fees before you compare a quote.
What are my World360 Rewards points worth?
There is no fixed rate, so we can't really advise that. But as a starting point, you can get some redemptions for under 10,000 points, including lounge access passes and day tours.
World360 Rewards publishes what each reward costs in points, and those costs can change like airfares. You can also redeem points as cashback in a Flight Centre store, though the rate for that is not published. Frequent flyer and card points are earned on top of whatever you do here.

It’s a free membership that stacks with everything else you earn. For anyone who books through the Flight Centre group, even occasionally, it’s definitely worth signing up. It’s probably not a program that you’d sign up for specifically for a certain reward redemption, but World360 Rewards does its best work as a third way to earn points on a trip you were taking anyway – packages, cruises, tours, complex itineraries.
