Want to get ahead of American Express’ impending devaluation? Transfer points from your Membership Rewards account (or other bank reward accounts in Australia and NZ) to unlock 10% bonus miles on top.
For example, if you have 120,000 American Express Membership Rewards points, you can transfer that to 60,000 Asia Miles + 6,000 bonus miles if done between 1-30 September 2025.
If you were to transfer 120,000 American Express Membership Rewards points after 15 December 2025, when the rates change, you’d only end up with 40,000 Asia Miles.
