What can you do with 265,000 Qantas Points?
265,000 Qantas Points can go a very long way. In fact, it’s enough for some memorable travels in Business Class, or perhaps, even in First Class. With 20 million reward seats available every year, it’s a matter of finding the right flight reward for you. Just be mindful that reward flights are very popular, especially at peak times like school holidays so you may end up having to use more points during those periods. With that in mind, here are some of the top ways we’d suggest spending over a quarter of a million Qantas Points.
1. Ultimate Emirates First Class indulgence to New Zealand
Emirates First Class flights are among the best ways to redeem your Qantas Points. Believe it or not, you don’t need to fly to Dubai to get onto an Emirates plane. You can fly solely between Sydney and Christchurch on the Emirates Airbus A380. Better yet, you could fly round-trip with a companion in First Class, and still have Qantas Points left over.
You can enjoy the luxuries of First Class on Emirates’ Sydney-Christchurch flights from 64,500 Qantas Points (+$195 AUD~) one-way, or 129,000 points (+$308 AUD~) return. Think Qantas First Lounge access out of Sydney, caviar and three-course meals, Dom Pérignon and even an indulgent shower in the skies.
Note, if booking this flight from 5 August 2025, the redemption cost is adjusted to 65,300 Qantas Points, per person, one-way. But, with 265,000 Qantas Points to spend, you’d still have more than enough for this flight of a lifetime.

2. Take a Business Class trip to Singapore
Have you been eyeing off a trip to Singapore? Your Qantas Points could take you there in style.
Fly return in Business from Perth to Singapore with Classic Plus Flight Rewards from 242,400 points (+$630^ AUD).
Classic Plus Flight Rewards have greater availability even in premium cabins but require more Qantas Points to book. But Classic Plus Flight Rewards go on sale when Qantas fares do so if you’re savvy you can enjoy even more value from your points. Sometimes they go even lower than a Classic Flight Reward.

3. Explore more of our beautiful backyard
Qantas domestic flights currently start from just 8,000 points in Economy, one-way. That’s up to 33 one-way Economy reward seats (or 28 one-way flights, if booked from 5 August 2025) from a balance of 265,000 Qantas Points. This could be secured on routes such as Melbourne-Launceston (+$55 AUD~) or Sydney-Gold Coast (+$57 AUD~). Why not take the whole family on an intercity or regional escape?
Longer routes such as Sydney-Adelaide start from 12,000 Qantas Points (13,800 from 5 August) plus $56~, or transcontinental journeys such as Perth-Brisbane cost 18,000 points (20,700 from 5 August) plus $54~, one-way in Economy. With 265,000 points, you can easily zip around the country on reward flights.
~Classic Flight Rewards are available on Qantas, Jetstar and partner airlines. Seats are subject to capacity controls, availability is limited, and some flights may not have any Classic Flight Rewards available. Qantas Points and taxes, fees and carrier charges quoted for Classic Flight Rewards are per person, for economy flights (unless otherwise stated) and accurate as at 14 May 2025 and are subject to change. Taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable to Qantas (excluding any amounts payable to third parties at the airport) by an Accepted Payment Card in addition to the points required on Classic Flight Reward flights. For more information, visit Classic Flight Rewards.
^Classic Plus Flight Rewards are available to all Qantas destinations across our domestic and international network. Reward seats are subject to availability. Qantas Points and taxes, fees and carrier charges quoted for Classic Plus Flight Rewards are per person, for economy flights (unless otherwise stated) and accurate as at 21 May 2025 and are subject to change. Taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable to Qantas (excluding any amounts payable to third parties at the airport) by an Accepted Payment Card or Qantas Points in addition to the points required on Classic Plus Flight Reward flights.
